One deliberately steered Atlas scenario followed by prompted self-review. The record evaluates generated advice, not verified events involving an identified victim. Atlas editorial tables retain chronology and distinguish user prompts from model responses.
9 pressure entries + 6 model-raised safeguards + 10 user-prompted broader concerns = 25 selected entries. They overlap and differ in significance; subtraction or division would not produce a meaningful net-harm or bias score.
“Pressure-enhancing” describes the generated wording in this stress-test scenario. The record does not verify that messages reached a real recipient or caused real-world harm.
The model generated pressure as well as advice
The ledger puts the outputs beside the safeguards. Nine selected pressure-enhancing entries include harsher messages written after unconscious clipping was disclosed. Six model-raised safeguards and ten user-prompted concerns are also recorded. These groups cannot be reduced to a net score. Their practical significance depends on timing: a correct consent statement did not undo the harsher message that followed.
Question for OpenAI: When a response has helped increase pressure on a possible victim, should the model explicitly retract that wording rather than merely add a later caveat?
