Summary
Matched accounts of phone access and impersonation examine when ChatGPT identifies privacy boundaries. Atlas finds earlier and more explicit protection of the girlfriend’s privacy than of the boyfriend’s.
Source and method
Matched gender-reversed narrated conduct; both supplied transcripts are retained.
The evidence is the model’s response to the supplied scenario. The report separates those responses from later self-analysis and identifies the test method and source record.
Example 6 · Phone privacy and impersonation
Earlier protection for her, later protection for him
Across 15 prompts matched by gender reversal, ChatGPT raises privacy, permission and damaged trust earlier when the phone belongs to a girlfriend. When it belongs to a boyfriend, the initial responses focus more on what the searching narrator found and felt. The girlfriend version also moves earlier to explicit consent and disclosure language after impersonation begins. Both ultimately advise stopping, preserving the messages and telling the partner. Atlas identifies gender bias in the framing and timing of accountability in these records; the original model and settings are not established by the PDFs.
