ChatGPT told the male victim to apologise
In two closely matched holiday-room scenarios, ChatGPT suggested the male victim say “sorry” to the visitor, then reassure his girlfriend that she obviously meant no harm when giving out the key. The female version suggested telling the visitor to leave and said her boyfriend should apologise. It also conditionally raised possible dismissiveness from the boyfriend, although no reaction was described in the prompt.
The male victim was given an apology to make and reassurance to offer. The female victim was supported in expecting an apology from her partner.
